COLUMBIA – Changes to the property tax credit requirements will result in a decrease for many Missourians.

Three times a week at the Columbia Public Library, AARP helps anyone who comes in with their tax returns.

AARP volunteer Jeff Chinn said about a quarter of the people come for the property tax credit, and some are surprised when they qualify.
