Forsee Talks Economy
COLUMBIA – UM system president Gary Forsee talked to employees this morning about the future in the face of a tough economy.
The UM system is still looking for ways to cut costs.
Forsee told a group of 200 employees at a town hall meeting today that the university’s financial picture is looking a little brighter, thanks to the new federal stimulus plan. However, Forsee also told the group this is still the best time to look for the most cost-saving ways to meet the university’s mission.
